The Village Board meets the second Monday of every month at 7 pm in the Village Hall. Meetings are open to the public. Special meetings are posted with their own agenda.

Village Board
Frederic is an incorporated village with a board of trustees. The board sets policy for village staff, passes ordinances, adopts the budget and appoints employees, the village attorney and the standing boards and committees. Trustees serve two-year terms that start the third Tuesday in April after the election.

Part-time police officer
The village is accepting applications for a part-time police officer. Applicants must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. An associate degree or equivalent is required; ask about tuition sponsorship. Wages are based on qualifications. Open until filled.
